Beyond Google, a Search Battle Brews

When you think search technology, Google springs to mind.

But think of all the other searching you do, such as when you hit the search bar on Zappos.com, try to find a movie on Netflix or even research a tech company on The Information. Those don’t rely on Google. Instead, they turn to so-called enterprise search technology, also used by companies to sift through their own data.
