The tech sector as a whole is still bleeding jobs due to the coronavirus pandemic. Cloudflare definitely isn’t, though.
The company—which operates a content delivery network currently in high demand from customers—is one of a handful of tech companies that saw staffing levels increase by double-digit percentages in their most recent quarters relative to the prior quarter, according to an analysis of public filings by The Information. As the table that accompanies this story shows, the double-digit club also includes Amazon, Twilio, CrowdStrike and Zoom, all of which have seen strong demand for their products and services throughout the pandemic. That is also true of Cloudflare, which had 1,697 employees at the end of September, up 10.6% from the end of June.
