Mark is the CEO of Descartes Labs, where they're advancing the science of forecasting using massive datasets, like satellite imagery. Their first product is a global understanding of commodity crop production (e.g., corn, soy, wheat, etc.). Previously, Mark was the CEO of Zite (sold to CNN in 2011 and to Flipboard in 2014). Before that he was a product manager at: Microsoft Bing, Powerset (acquired by Microsoft), Kosmix (acquired by WalMart), SideStep (acquired by Kayak), and SAP.
