Silicon Valley Bank failed on March 10th, after a bad bet on interest rates, a run on the bank, a failed attempt to raise money and a short-lived endeavor to sell itself. It was the second-largest bank failure in U.S. history behind that of Washington Mutual.
To discuss the aftermath of SVB’s failure and the risk of contagion within the banking sector, we’re hosting Former Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers on a special live video call on Tuesday, March 21st at 1:00pm PT/4:00 pm ET.
