Kate Clark is a Senior Reporter covering venture capital and startups for The Information. She has won multiple Best in Business awards from the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing for her reporting on startups’ efforts to survive the Covid-19 pandemic and traditional VC firm’s struggles to compete with Wall Street hedge funds. She previously covered technology companies such as Uber and WeWork as a reporter at TechCrunch. A graduate of the University of Washington, she started her career in Seattle as an intern at The Seattle Times and a staff writer at PitchBook, where she co-authored a daily newsletter on venture capital.
