Matt Pressberg covers the business of Hollywood, particularly its relationship with China, and the emergence of new digital-first players. Pressberg has broken stories on matters ranging from the collapse of Wanda Group’s bid for Dick Clark Productions to the acquisition of Paramount Pictures’ finance partner Huahua Media. He was previously a business reporter at TheWrap, the Los Angeles Correspondent for the International Business Times and a managing editor at the Los Angeles Business Journal. Prior to that, he was a private equity analyst. Pressberg graduated from Georgetown University and has a master’s from USC’s Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism.
