My what a difference a week makes. Last week, I was writing this column curled up at a desk from home, wondering when things would go back to normal. This week was anything but normal, and we won’t see normal for a long time. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by COVID-19 and the amazing health workers on the front lines.
The week began with energy. My column on female founders, from last week, generated a lot of conversations and so I looked for ways to do more to do on the subject. That led to a Zoom video call with reporter and columnist Kara Swisher to discuss the issue. Unfortunately, the call was ruined by idiots who hacked it with screenshared porn. I am deeply sorry to anyone who joined us on the call, which we aborted. We will reschedule in some form. And here’s how to prevent this—called “Zoombombing”—from happening to you.
