Come join our team as a summer reporting intern. This is an ideal opportunity for a college or graduate student with journalism ambitions and experience in reporting. The intern will spend the summer reporting and writing stories, supported by our team.

Candidates must be able to generate ideas and source up. We are looking for someone with a record of breaking news and producing well-written stories. Interest in technology and business is a must, although experience covering tech isn’t required. This is a paid position, based in San Francisco or New York.

The Information is a fast-growing subscription publication dedicated to original, compelling reporting on business and technology. Since launching nearly six years ago, we have become a must-read for people in tech, media, entertainment and on Wall Street. We don’t follow the crowd: Our reporters are given the time to pursue in-depth stories that make an impact. Our work has included groundbreaking reporting on the safety of self-driving cars, sexual harassment of female entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, and myriad hard-hitting exclusives on WeWork, Facebook, Apple and scores of other companies.

Past interns have gone to full-time jobs at The Information and other leading news organizations. If you’re interested in applying for our summer internship, please send a resume, cover letter and clips to [email protected]. Selection is made on a rolling basis.
