The Information is a fast-growing subscription publication dedicated to original, compelling reporting on business and technology. We’ve made a multimillion-dollar investment to significantly expand our coverage into several new areas, including media, entertainment, fintech and cryptocurrencies. We don’t publish commodity news—just must-read reporting that can’t be found elsewhere. That means our reporters have the time to do in-depth stories that can make an impact, such as our exposure of venture capitalist Justin Caldbeck’s sexual harassment of female entrepreneurs, and groundbreaking reporting on the safety of autonomous vehicles and lax corporate governance standards among private companies.
Reporting Intern
This is an ideal opportunity for a college or graduate student with journalism ambitions and experience in reporting. The intern will spend the summer reporting and writing stories, supported by our team. This role isn't about researching for other reporters.
Candidates must be able to generate ideas and source up. We are looking for someone with a record of breaking news and producing well-written stories. Interest in technology and business is a must, although experience covering tech isn’t required. This is a paid position.
To apply: Please send a resume, cover letter and clips to jobs@theinformation.com. Selection is made on a rolling basis.
