Former Hearst chief content officer Joanna Coles plans to launch a subscription content platform focused on women’s networking opportunities, she said at The Information’s Women in Tech, Media and Finance conference Tuesday.
The new venture, which hasn’t been previously reported, will focus on “connecting working women across America” and will be featured in a variety of mediums including text, video and audio, Ms. Coles said. She said she was currently engaged in talks with several corporate partners who would potentially offer company-sponsored subscriptions for the platform, although she declined to name the companies. The venture will launch in late 2019.
