Introducing Young Professional and All-Access Plans

On our four-year anniversary, I am delighted to announce two new plans subscribers have been asking for: a 50%-off young professionals plan ($199 a year) and an all-access plan that offers guaranteed attendance at our events for $749, just $350 more than a regular subscription.

Young Professionals (Learn more here)

Tech is an industry that skews young, and, given all the businesses it is disrupting, it is also one of the most sought after industries for people starting out in their careers. As such, younger subscribers have been a core part of our community since the day we launched. Now, we’re excited to expand that community by extending our student subscription to anyone 30 or younger.

This plan includes everything in our standard subscription—articles, events, conference calls, podcasts—all for $199 instead of $399. And we’re letting you lock in the rate for five years! Additionally, we have established a Facebook group for young professionals to trade notes about careers, share job opportunities and more. We’re excited for this special community to form. And we’re grateful to our young professionals advisory board, for advice on how to grow the program.

They are: Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, co-founder at Flutterwave and Andela; Parth Bhakta, angel investor; Anthony Ghosn, co-founder and CEO at Shogun; Jocelyn Kinsey, Senior Associate at DFJ; Edward Lando, founder at Alpha; Cory Levy, co-founder and COO at One, Inc.; Howie Liu, co-founder and CEO at Airtable; Kelly Peeler, co-founder and CEO at NextGenVest; Weston Reynolds, senior associate at Greycroft; Santosh Sankar, co-founder and Director at Dynamo VC; Michelle Valentine, investor at Index Ventures; Stephanie Weiner, founder and CEO at LuxLab; Stephanie Zhan, investor at Sequoia Capital.

All-Access (Learn more here)

This plan designed for those of you who are getting meaningful value out of our events. Our events are a chance to meet industry leaders like Jeff Zucker and Evan Williams. We keep them small so that they are valuable to subscribers, making them unique among tech conferences. As we’ve grown, they fill up very fast—often in 45 minutes or less.

So we’re launching this plan for subscribers who want guaranteed access and a plus one at our four major events next year, as well as a range of networking parties and more.

They include:

  • January/February 2018 - Seattle - Hybrid Cloud & AI Event
  • April 2018 - New York - The Future of Sports
  • June 2018 - Location TBD - Autonomous Vehicles Summit
  • October 2018 - San Francisco - Subscriber Summit

While supplies last, All-Access Subscribers can also get a free version of our $100 year in review book. Sign up here.

I want to take this moment to thank you all. It’s been an incredible four years, and we are just getting started. We are hiring faster than ever to expand what we cover, and our growth is as strong as ever.

Our team has delivered the journalism. But you, our readers, have given that reporting meaning—reading, sharing, discussing and, at times, challenging our work. Thank you for choosing to be part of our community and believing that we make better decisions when we have better information.

If you are enjoying your subscription, we’d be thrilled if you spread the word and keep the community growing by referring a friend. You can point them to our new subscribe page, which has our new plans listed out.

We can’t wait to serve you in the years and decades ahead.
