Jack Dorsey’s decision to step down as CEO of Twitter on Monday has everyone wondering whether his next move will be to dive further into crypto. Even though Dorsey still has Square to run, it would make sense if he doubled down on bitcoin and tried his hand at managing a project entirely focused on crypto.
He may have hinted at this kind of switch when he spoke at the Bitcoin 2021 conference in June. He said that there’s nothing more important to work on in his lifetime than bitcoin. “If [bitcoin] needed more help than Square or Twitter, I would leave them for bitcoin,” he said.
