Twitch, Amazon’s video-streaming unit, shook up its top ranks earlier this year following the departures of Chief Operating Officer Sara Clemens and Chief Content Officer Michael Aragon. That led to a consolidation of power under President Dan Clancy.
The Information’s first Twitch org chart maps out more than 50 people in power at the business, which Amazon acquired in 2014. CEO and co-founder Emmett Shear runs the 1,800-person unit, reporting to Jeff Blackburn, Amazon’s senior vice president of media and entertainment. Five senior leaders report to Shear, including Clancy, who in February expanded his responsibilities to include marketing, content and partnerships in addition to the product and engineering teams he previously ran. The org chart also looks at who will report to incoming Chief Content Officer Laura Lee.
