Over the past year or so, apps have gotten skinny. Facebook cleaved off Messenger and launched more standalones like Moments. Foursquare split into two, and others followed. As many have pointed out, the unbundling has been driven by the fact there’s just less real estate on mobile devices. So, the theory goes, it’s better to break out features so they can get full attention.
