Comcast to Distribute HBO Max, Amazon Holds Out

WarnerMedia’s HBO Max streaming service went live on Wednesday but it’s not available on either Roku or Amazon’s platforms, two of the major ways that people access streaming services. Warner did strike a deal with Comcast to offer HBO Max to the cable giant’s TV and interent customers, Warner announced. But without Roku or Amazon, HBO Max will be limited in its ability to attract subscribers....
