Facebook’s WhatsApp Hits 2 Billion Users

WhatsApp now has 2 billion monthly users, up from 450 million users when it was acquired by Facebook for $22 billion roughly six years ago. The last time Facebook gave an updated user metric for WhatsApp was two years ago, when it announced 1.5 billion users.
