Facebook’s WhatsApp Service Suffers Global Outage

WhatsApp, the Facebook-owned secure messaging service, is experiencing an outage for what appears to be the first time in six years, according to Downdetector , a website that tracks internet service interruptions. WhatApp users in the U.S. and Europe began tweeting about the service outage starting at around 12:30 p.m. Pacific time, and Downdetector has recorded a spike in reports from users...
