Amazon in Talks to Acquire Minority Stake in NFL Media Properties

Months after winning the exclusive streaming rights to the NFL’s “Thursday Night Football” package for more than $1 billion a year, Amazon is reportedly seeking to invest more in pro football: It’s in talks to acquire up to a 49% stake in NFL media properties including the NFL Network and RedZone TV channels, as well as NFL.com, according to sports-business publication Front Office Sports . ...
