Disney Replaces Freewheel in Ad Deal With Google

Disney is ending its relationship with Comcast’s ad technology company, FreeWheel, opting to move all of its online ad campaigns to Google’s Ad Manager, according to Variety. Disney had previously done business with both FreeWheel, which Comcast bought in 2014, and Google.  

Disney’s decision to move its business from Comcast is hardly a surprise given the rivalry between the two companies which only heightened in recent months as they battled over the bulk of Fox assets as well as for control of European satellite company Sky.
