U.S. Chipmakers, Apple at Risk in China-U.S. Trade War

U.S. companies like Apple and domestic chipmakers stand to lose a lot if the trade war between China and the U.S. continues unabated. A Bloomberg story illustrates just how many strings China may pull if it wants to inflict damage on these companies. Apple sees China as one of its key markets, and the fight could lead to China retaliating with tariffs to raise the prices on Apple products. Nvidia relies on China the most of any U.S. company as a percentage of its overall revenue, with 23.5% of its overall sales coming from China.
