GitHub to Lay Off 300 Employees, Go Fully Remote

Microsoft-owned GitHub will lay off 10% of its staff in the coming quarter and will move to vacate its offices and become fully remote once its leases end, CEO Thomas Dohmke said in an email to staff Thursday.
