Twitter Reportedly Lays Off Content Moderation and Infrastructure Contractors

Twitter has laid off thousands of contractors responsible for jobs including content moderation and infrastructure services, Platformer’s Casey Newton reported. Around 4,400 of Twitter’s 5,500 contractors were laid off Sunday, Newton said in a tweet. Contractors were not notified directly and instead found out because they lost digital access to their work accounts, Newton said. The...
