About the speakers:

• Henrique Dubugras co-founded Brex in 2017 with Pedro Franceschi. Today, Dubugras works closely with investors and oversees sales, marketing, and customer success functions at Brex. A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dubugras began coding at the age of 12 and created AskMeOut, a Brazilian matchmaking program, when he was 16. In 2013, he and Franceschi built payments company Pagar.me. In just three years, Pagar.me processed $1.5 billion in transactions. In 2016, Dubugras sold Pagar.me and enrolled at Stanford. A year later, he joined Y Combinator Winter 2017’s batch with Franceschi and went on to found Brex.

• Jessica Lessin is the founder and CEO of The Information, the publication known for original, in-depth reporting about technology and business. For nearly a decade, Lessin has grown The Information into one of the largest subscription journalism communities in the world, attracting an influential audience of business leaders globally. Lessin has covered Silicon Valley and the technology industry for almost two decades and was previously a reporter and editor at the Wall Street Journal. She lives in the Bay Area, with her husband and three boys. When not trying to keep up with her children, she enjoys surfing and skiing.
