Join us for The Information’s One-Day Media Business Bootcamp at Company in New York City. 

Last year we focused on building a funnel. This year we focus on subscriber loyalty and marketing post-paywall as well as shifting the balance of power with the tech platforms. 

Jessica Lessin, Founder and CEO of The Information, will kick us off with the latest trends and topic in media. Jessica was recently named one of the "10 People Transforming the Media Business" by Business Insider. As someone who was well ahead of the pivot to subscription, Jessica is passionate about news businesses and always has an eye out for what's working and not working in the media world. 

We'll also have three fireside chats with fantastic speakers and give you a chance for Q&A after. Speakers include:

Shaun King, previously senior justice writer at The Intercept, launched The North Star in February with over 25,000 founding members funding the outlet. King is a master of social media and was recently named one of the 25 Most Influential People on the Internet by TIME Magazine.

Jon Steinberg previously served as CEO of DailyMail.com North America and President and COO of BuzzFeed. He has been forward-thinking in media for many years and most recently with his live-streaming news network, Cheddar. The network was recently purchased by Altice USA for $200M, highlighting Steinberg as one of the most successful media entrepreneurs of the moment.
