Since summer 2023, CEO Linda Yaccarino has officially taken the helm of X, with Elon Musk serving as the company's executive chair and chief technology officer. Product and engineering report to Musk, while all other departments report to Yaccarino. Safety—formerly known as "trust and safety," before Musk decided that trust was a euphemism for censorship—reports to both Musk and Yaccarino.
