Subscribers turned much more upbeat about Apple in The Information’s latest subscriber survey, possibly in response to reports about the company’s next iPhone. Sentiment about Apple has been negative for most of the past 12 months, presumably a response to slowing revenue growth. But in the latest survey, Apple’s sentiment score jumped 52 percentage points to 20%.
Sentiment toward Facebook also improved sharply: Its score rose 26 percentage points to 28%. That may reflect signs that Instagram is gaining ground on Snapchat.
