Ashley Gold was a reporter at The Information, covering politics and policy from Washington, DC. Most recently, she worked as a technology reporter for POLITICO Pro, covering tech policy in Congress and federal agencies and at the Supreme Court. Prior to that, she worked in the BBC's Washington bureau covering breaking news and politics out of the US and Canada; earlier, she helped launch POLITICO Pro's eHealth vertical. Before that, she covered heath IT at FierceMarkets. In summer 2017 she was chosen to participate in Loyola Law School's Journalist Law School fellowship. She began her career as a Metro reporter at the Reading Eagle in Pennsylvania after graduating from Penn State with a degree in journalism in 2011.
