Inside The Information’s 50 Most Promising Startups

Nov 11, 2021 - What can you learn from the 50 startups The Information’s newsroom has deemed the most promising today? On November 11, our reporters and editors took you inside the process of selecting The Information 50—which they’ll reveal the day before—and the key insights they’ve gleaned about the companies poised for dramatic growth and impact throughout the next year. To build the list, The Information reporters consulted an array of industry sources and gathered previously undisclosed business and financial information. The companies, identified through months of detailed reporting, span fintech, ecommerce, enterprise tech, media, creator economy and more. The Information 50 includes only companies that had raised less than $100 million in venture capital or began operations within the last three years—and excludes companies that are already “unicorns,” or worth more than $1 billion on paper.
