Amazon Studios executive Sharon Tal Yguado is expected to leave the company, said several people with direct knowledge of the situation.
Ms. Tal Yguado joined Amazon Studios in at the beginning of 2017, overseeing the streaming services “event series” division. She temporarily took on a more senior role in the company later in 2017, overseeing all drama, comedy, and virtual reality programming, after the resignation of Amazon Studios chief Roy Price and his lieutenant Joe Lewis for sexual harassment.
But last February, when Amazon hired Jen Salke from NBCUniversal to replace Mr. Price, Ms. Tal Yguado returned to her former role overseeing genre and event programming. An Amazon Studios spokesperson did not immediately have a comment.
