Katie Haun to Leave Coinbase’s Board
Katie Haun is stepping down from Coinbase’s board of directors, the crypto exchange said in a filing on Friday.
A former federal prosecutor, Haun joined the board of Coinbase in 2017. She was a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz before founding Haun Ventures, a $1.5 billion crypto-focused venture capital firm, in 2022.
Haun told Coinbase on Thursday that she will not stand for re-election when her current term expires at the company’s 2024 annual shareholder meeting, the filing said. Coinbase plans to reduce the size of the board from eight to seven.
