Walmart is a multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of discount department stores, grocery stores, and hypermarkets. Founded in 1962 by Sam Walton, Walmart has become one of the largest companies in the world, with over 11,000 stores in 27 countries. The company is led by CEO Doug McMillon.
