Shane Burke

Shane Burke is a senior data journalist at The Information, developing visualizations, data-driven stories and larger data projects. Before joining in 2022, Shane reported for The Salt Lake Tribune on demographics and investigated a feature for the Pulitzer Center on innovations in HIV/AIDS prevention in South Africa. Shane studied government at Dartmouth College and data journalism at Columbia Journalism School. Prior to working in journalism, he worked as a research manager at a market research firm in New York.
